Disco Booty Quest: Can This Electric Hip Trainer Zap You to Michelangelo-Sculpted Glutes?

28/2/2024

Forget squats! The Verticalox promises to sculpt your backside with electric pulses and disco lights. One brave reviewer strapped it on for a hilarious (and slightly singed) journey. Did they achieve Kim K results, or just become a twerking robot for their cat's amusement? Read the full review to discover the shocking (and side-splitting) truth! #RobotGluteTrip #MuscleTrainerMadness #DiscoBootyVerdict

Picture
The Verticalox Electronic Hip Muscle Trainer, a device that promises to sculpt your backside into a masterpiece worthy of Michelangelo (or at least Kim Kardashian). Let's just say, things got interesting...and not always in the "bootylicious" way.
First Impressions: The Verticalox looks like something Batman might use to torture his enemies. Sleek black, lots of wires, and a control panel that wouldn't be out of place in a spaceship and apparently takes longer to assemble than an IKEA dresser.
The Workout: Now, think squats, but different. The Verticalox zaps your glutes with electrical pulses, supposedly mimicking the feeling of "walking uphill." It's like having a tiny disco party in your derriere, complete with flashing lights and questionable music (seriously, who programs workout equipment with techno?).
The Results: Can you achieve J.Lo levels of bootyliciousness? Reviews suggest that the mirror might remains unconvinced. But some say things felt a bit tighter, and glutes were definitely more…aware of their existence.
The Verdict: The Verticalox is definitely unique, but is it worth the investment? If you're looking for a fun (and slightly embarrassing) way to add some variety to your workout, sure. But if you're expecting instant Kim K results, you might be disappointed (and slightly singed). Just remember, there's no shortcut to a sculpted backside, not even with a disco-powered torture device (I mean, "muscle trainer").
Bonus points for:
  • Making you feel like you’re starring in your own robot uprising movie.
  • Providing endless entertainment for your cat, who will be mesmerised by the flashing lights.
  • Reminding you that laughter is probably the best workout for the soul (and maybe the glutes, too?).
Final verdict: 3 out of 5 twerking robots. It's fun, it's weird, but it might not be your next fitness holy grail. Unless, of course, your fitness goals involve channelling your inner disco-dancing cyborg.
Allison Elliott USA
I use it twice a day and everyone has been asking me if I had a BBL done. I cannot fit any of my jeans, underwear, not even my tights which as we know have stretchy material. I now have to buy new clothes. I definitely recommend this device especially for the non-believers because I was one of them too. Everywhere I go people admire my butt. It works 100%

Kalinka J. USA
Well I was sceptical as I first saw the ad and now I’m upset I didn’t get it faster…I’m using it for 3 weeks now, 4 times a week and my cellulite is almost completely gone 😀 my lazy ass loves it

Is Superintelligence the New Intelligence? Buckle Up for the Mindshift!

16/2/2024

Is surpassing human intelligence the next giant leap for mankind...or AI?  ChatGPT 3.4 & 4 are already scoring higher on IQ tests than most humans, and AI like Gemini envisions schools focused on creativity, not memorization. But before we all become brainiacs with robot tutors, let's consider the potential pitfalls of over-reliance. The crucial question: can we control superintelligent machines before they control us.
Picture
Let me lead with this:
"ChatGPT4 is estimated to have an IQ of around 155. Albert Einstein had an IQ of about 160 and the average human IQ is around 100“
Remember Einstein? His IQ, once considered extraordinary, might soon be average thanks to... AI!  New AI models like ChatGPT4 are scoring higher on IQ tests and completing tasks faster than humans. This begs the question: will traditional intelligence become obsolete?
Let’s explores the mind-bending concept of "superintelligent machines" and their potential impact on our world:
1. IQ Exploding: Imagine everyone having instant access to expert-level knowledge via brain implants! Neural lace and AI systems could boost average IQs to unheard-of levels, making geniuses seem ordinary.
2. Schools Transformed: Rote learning out, creativity and kindness in! Schools might shift focus to skills like imagination and motivation as AI handles the knowledge acquisition.
3. AI Already Winning: Don't underestimate machines! AI models are already surpassing humans in some areas, like reading comprehension, pattern recognition, and even complex social reasoning tasks.
4. The Good, the Bad, and the AI: While AI assistance sounds amazing, over-reliance can be risky. Mistakes due to limited AI capabilities and skills development hampered by delegation are potential downsides.
5. A Glimpse into the Future: Remember Deep Blue beating Kasparov in chess? That was just the beginning! AI models are conquering various fields, showcasing rapid advancements in language, reasoning, and social intelligence.
6. The Big Question: As AI capabilities approach or even surpass human cognition, how will we control and guide these superintelligent systems? This is the crucial question humanity needs to address.
Get ready for a world where the lines between human and machine intelligence blur. This is just the beginning of a fascinating, and potentially mind-bending, journey!
Ready to dive in? Shop around and try the various offerings.

Ditch the editing tools! Apple's new AI lets you transform photos with just words. Want a brighter sky? Type it in. Craving a healthy pizza? Tell the AI. This game-changer understands your desires and edits your images in a flash. Is the future of photo editing voice-controlled, or even mind-read? Get ready for a magical experience!

Apple made an AI image tool that lets you make edits by describing them.

Say Goodbye to Clunky Tools: Edit Photos with Words Alone Thanks to Apple's New AI

Forget fiddling with sliders and filters! Apple researchers have unveiled a groundbreaking AI model called MGIE (MLLM Guided Image Editing) that lets you edit photos simply by describing your desired changes in plain language. No more navigating confusing software – just tell MGIE what you want, and it magically transforms your image.

Need a brighter sky? Type "add more light." Craving a healthier pizza? Say "make it veggie-powered." MGIE understands your intent and applies adjustments with impressive accuracy. Whether it's basic crops and resizes or complex object modifications, this AI whiz handles it all.

But how does it work? MGIE is trained to interpret your words and "imagine" the corresponding edit. So, "bluer sky" translates to brightened sky pixels, and "make it pop" translates to enhanced contrast. This powerful image understanding sets MGIE apart from existing solutions.

This isn't just a research project either. Apple has released the model for download and even offers a web demo, letting you experiment with its capabilities firsthand. While future plans remain unclear, the potential is undeniable.

Imagine crafting stunning edits without ever touching editing software. Imagine making AI your personal photo assistant. With MGIE, the door to a future of intuitive and accessible image editing might just be cracking open. Are you ready to say goodbye to the limitations of traditional tools and embrace the power of words?

Apple Music & TV Go Solo: Separate Apps Coming to Windows, Breaking From iTunes

13/2/2024

Apple fans rejoice! Your Windows nightmare might be over. Ditch the clunky iTunes, because dedicated Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Devices apps are reportedly landing on Windows soon. This could be a game-changer for Apple's streaming ambitions, offering a smoother experience and potentially tempting even die-hard Windows users to switch sides. Will it finally win you over? Stay tuned as we await the official launch and see if Apple's strategy hits the right note.
Picture
Music to many Windows users' ears! Apple, in a move signalling its growing seriousness in the streaming wars, is reportedly splitting iTunes on Windows into three separate apps: Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Devices. This news, reported by The Verge, suggests a significant shift in Apple's strategy toward non-Apple platforms.
For years, iTunes has served as the one-stop shop for managing Apple devices, syncing content, and accessing Apple Music and Apple TV on Windows. However, its clunky interface and lack of dedicated features were major pain points for users, especially compared to native apps offered by competitors like Spotify and Netflix.
This unbundling could be a game-changer for Apple in the Windows ecosystem. Separate, streamlined apps promise:
  • Improved User Experience: Dedicated apps focused on specific functionalities can offer a more intuitive and user-friendly experience compared to the all-encompassing iTunes.
  • Enhanced Features: Apps tailored to each service can potentially offer features currently missing on Windows, like offline downloading for Apple TV or personalised recommendations for Apple Music.
  • Greater Appeal to Windows Users: A modern and platform-specific approach might finally convince Windows users, like the author, to consider subscribing to Apple services, offering Apple a potentially untapped market.
This move comes as Apple Music and Apple TV face stiff competition from Spotify, Netflix, and other streaming giants. By offering a more seamless experience on Windows, Apple aims to attract new users and retain existing ones who might be tempted to switch platforms.
However, questions remain:
  • Release Date: The Verge reports the apps are "coming soon," but no specific timeframe is available.
  • Feature Parity: Will the Windows apps offer the same features as their macOS counterparts?
  • Impact on iTunes: What will happen to the core iTunes functionalities like device management and media syncing?

NEWS - Aussies Ditching FTTN (Slowly): NBN Upgrade Rollout Shows Progress, But Millions Still Languish on Bad Tech

12/2/2024

Stuck with snail-speed internet? There's hope! NBN's free fibre upgrade is slowly pulling Aussies off the dreaded FTTN, with almost 200,000 already enjoying faster speeds. Millions more wait, but join the queue? It could be a decade before FTTN bites the dust. Are you ready to ditch the lag and upgrade?
Picture
Good news for some, not-so-good news for others. NBN Co's free fibre upgrade program is slowly chipping away at Australia's reliance on the notoriously unreliable FTTN technology, with nearly 200,000 homes and businesses now enjoying the benefits of fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP).

However, with 2.98 million still stuck on FTTN (node), representing 90% of underperforming services, the road to full fibre nirvana remains long and bumpy. While 7,000 users are joining the upgrade queue weekly, eliminating FTTN entirely could take a decade – assuming everyone jumps on board.

The silver lining? 75% of premises can now access NBN 1000 plans, though not all through FTTP. Hybrid fibre coaxial (HFC) connections are also in the mix… think foxtel cable.

Thinking about ditching your slow FTTN? The average wait time for an upgrade is 2-4 weeks. Need help choosing a blazing-fast internet plan? Check out whistleout.com.au

So, while progress is being made, millions of Aussies are still waiting for their chance to escape the clutches of FTTN.

Consider mobile broadband options.

Chrome extensions enhance your browsing experience by adding extra features to Chrome, such as ad blocking. They allow you to tailor your browser's functionality to your preferences.
In contrast, web apps operate as independent applications within a browser window, like an email client, and are not integrations or enhancements to the browser's core functionalities.
However, it's important to exercise caution when installing extensions, as they can sometimes pose security risks to your browser.
To find and add these extensions, you can visit the Chrome Web Store. Other browsers also support extensions, with Microsoft Edge offering them through the Windows Store, albeit with a more limited selection. Extensions are available for various browsers, ensuring a wide range of customization options.

Google's Bard Transforms into Gemini: Mobile App & Paid AI Advancements Unveiled

Google's ambitious AI journey takes a leap forward with the official renaming of its "Bard" chatbot to "Gemini" and the introduction of a dedicated mobile app. This strategic shift comes alongside the launch of "Gemini Advanced," a premium chatbot powered by the cutting-edge Ultra 1.0 model, capable of tackling complex tasks like coding and quizzes.

Google explains the move to Gemini reflects a deeper integration of its various AI models under one name, signifying a more unified and powerful AI experience. While Bard focused primarily on text generation and creative tasks, Gemini expands its scope to encompass a wider range of applications and capabilities.

Complementing the rebranding, Google announces the launch of a mobile app for Gemini. Users can now access the AI's capabilities directly from their smartphones, opening doors to convenient interaction and on-the-go assistance.

The real headliner, however, is Gemini Advanced. This premium offering, available through a monthly subscription, leverages the advanced Ultra 1.0 model, unlocking impressive capabilities. Whether you're stuck on a coding challenge or need help crafting the perfect quiz, Gemini Advanced promises to assist with complex tasks beyond the reach of its standard counterpart.

Accessing Gemini Advanced requires subscribing to the "Google One AI Premium Plan," priced at $32.99 per month in Australia (with a two-month free trial). This pricing strategy suggests Google sees this offering as a value proposition for professionals and specific user groups who require more advanced AI assistance.

Google claims in-house tests reveal "Gemini Advanced with Ultra 1.0 is now the most preferred chatbot compared to leading alternatives." This bold statement hints at Google's ambition to position Gemini as the frontrunner in the increasingly competitive AI chatbot market.

Chrome is about to get a makeover, and not just a visual one. Three new AI-powered features are rolling out, promising to streamline your browsing experience and unleash your inner creative genius. Let's take a test drive:

Picture
Tab Groups: Say goodbye to tab chaos! Organize your digital clutter with the AI-powered "Tab Groups" feature. No more manual sorting – Chrome will automatically group similar tabs (research, shopping, social media) into cohesive clusters, making finding what you need a breeze. Finally, a browser that understands your messy browsing habits!
Writing Assistant: Feeling tongue-tied when writing an online review or crafting a professional email? Fear not, the AI writing assistant is here to be your digital wordsmith. Simply right-click in any text field and let the AI analyse your thoughts. It'll suggest phrases, polish your grammar, and even help you find the perfect tone – even if you're writing in a language you're not fluent in. Prepare to become a keyboard ninja with this AI muse by your side.
AI-Generated Themes: Bored with the same old browser skin? Unleash your inner designer with AI-powered themes! Choose a mood, colour palette, or art style, and watch as the AI paints your browser in a personalised masterpiece. From serene landscapes to vibrant cityscapes, the possibilities are endless. Get ready to browse in style, all thanks to the magic of AI.
Early Verdict: These AI features are undeniably cool. Tab Groups bring much-needed organisation, the writing assistant is a productivity booster, and AI themes add a splash of personalization. However, it's still early days. The accuracy of the AI suggestions and the level of creative control remain to be seen. Additionally, concerns about privacy and data usage with these integrated AI features merit consideration.
Overall, Chrome's AI upgrade is a promising step towards a smarter, more intuitive browsing experience. Whether it's organising your tabs, unleashing your inner writer, or customising your digital space, these features offer a glimpse into the future of browsing. So, buckle up, Chrome users – the AI revolution is here!
Bonus: Keep an eye out for the upcoming integration of Google's Gemini AI model, which promises even more powerful features and capabilities. The future of browsing is looking bright indeed!
