Lost WiFi Connection

Stuck in a dead zone? Is your phone's internet connection on life support? Don't panic!  Before you resign yourself to a world without memes, follow our guide for getting your phone back online. We'll troubleshoot common culprits like airplane mode gremlins and finicky Wi-Fi connections, and show you how to get your phone back in the data game in no time.

If you’re on the internet maybe surfing, or banking or streaming and it suddenly stops working. What could it be?
Basic Checks:

1. Airplane Mode:  Make sure Airplane mode isn't accidentally turned on. This will completely disable your phone's ability to connect to cellular data or wifi.  Look for the airplane mode icon in your quick settings menu (usually by swiping down from the top of the screen).
2. Restart:  Toggle Airplane Mode. If still no luck, try a restart. Turn your phone completely off and then back on.

Check Connections:

1. Wi-Fi: If you're using Wi-Fi,  make sure you're connected to the correct network and that you have entered the password correctly. Signal low or gone completely. Try switching to cellular mode.
2. Mobile Data:  If you're using mobile data,  check if your data plan is active and that you haven't reached your data limit.  You can usually check this through your carrier's app or website.

Further Troubleshooting:

1. Reset Network Settings: This will erase all your saved Wi-Fi passwords and Bluetooth connections, so make sure you write them down first. The exact steps will vary depending on your phone model, but it's usually found under Settings > System (or General) > Reset.

Still No Luck?
If you've tried all of these steps and your internet is still not working, it might be an issue with your phone's hardware or the network itself.  Here are some next steps:
