Task Scams surge 400%

These deposits, usually in cryptocurrency, vanish into the scammer's pockets."

Announcer: "The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) warns that these scams are on the rise. In 2023, Australians lost over $24 million to job and employment scams. This year, the number of victims is expected to increase significantly."
