More Blue Screen Blues

Microsoft users are facing yet another headache, just days after the widespread CrowdStrike-related blue screen issue. The latest problem stems from the July Patch Tuesday security update, which has triggered a BitLocker encryption recovery screen for some users.
What's Happening?
After installing the update, affected Windows devices (including both consumer and server versions) may reboot into a BitLocker recovery screen, requesting a recovery key. Here’s the kicker - This occurs even if BitLocker encryption was not previously enabled.

Who's Affected?
The issue appears to be impacting a subset of Windows users running various versions of Windows 10, 11, and Windows Server editions.
Microsoft's Response:
Microsoft has acknowledged the problem and is currently investigating. They have advised users to enter their BitLocker recovery key to regain access to their devices.
How to Recover:

1. Enter the BitLocker recovery key when prompted.
2. Retrieve the recovery key from your Microsoft account if needed.

Prevention Tips:
While there's no guaranteed way to prevent this issue, maybe turn off updates for a couple of weeks in Update -> Settings -> Advanced.
