Apple's annual developer conference, WWDC 2024, unveiled a wave of updates across its entire product line. Here's a quick rundown of the biggest announcements:
VisionOS & Apple Vision Pro:
  • The spatial computing headset, Apple Vision Pro, finally gets an Australian release date: July 12th!
  • VisionOS 2 brings new features to enhance spatial photos and introduces SharePlay with hand gestures.
  • If you commute to work, a train support mode is coming to the Apple Vision Pro.
iOS 18:
  • iPhone users can express themselves further with new emoji tapbacks.
  • Gamers get a dedicated game mode for uninterrupted play.

  • The password manager app makes its debut on Mac, while Safari users get detailed webpage summaries.
  • Assassin's Creed fans rejoice - both Assassin's Creed Shadows and Mirage are coming to Mac!
watchOS 11:
  • Your Apple Watch gets a new Vitals app for daily health monitoring and alerts.
  • New fitness features include training load insights and customizable move goals.
  • The cycle app receives an update for smarter pregnancy tracking.
tvOS 18:
  • Apple TV+ users can enjoy inSight pop-ups revealing info about actors, characters, and music.
  • Enhance Dialogue clarifies voices in Apple TV+ content.
  • Automatic subtitles appear for language changes, muting, or rewinding.
  • AirPods gain gesture control - nod to accept a call, shake to decline (enabled through Siri).
Apple Intelligence: The AI Revolution
