How do I move stuff from one phone to another when I buy a new phone

Android to Android
Version 10+
Backup your data
Login to same account on new phone
Login to same WiFi network or use a USB-C to USB-C cable  (not the normal cable)
Setup as a new phone choosing - Restore Data
Follow the prompts
Choose to copy apps if you wish

Backup your Whatsapp from within the app to Google Drive (turn on video backup)

Same but choose from Apple Device then follow the prompts

Android to Apple
Same WiFi network
Quick Start -> Setup Manually
Apps & Data -> Move Data from Android
Agree to terms
Enter one time code

Apple to Apple
Same WiFi network
Quick Start -> choose from
->Download from iCloud
->Copy from other device
Follow the prompts
Wait…

In all cases you will likely need to re-login to all you app accounts, so plan to have those passwords ready.

Keep your old device for a couple of weeks - DO NOT FACTORY RESET until you’re sure you have all the data.
