Hey Google I live in Australia, not the US?

How do I get Google to remember?

Google uses your IP address to work out your region and hence what results are relevant to you.
You can force a region however…
Bottom right of google search page: Settings -> Other settings -> language and region

To fix spelling problems:
Also in Settings -> Manage your Google Account -> Personal Info -> Language (Australia) -> Preferred
