Genmoji

Genmoji is Apple's new generative AI feature that lets you create custom emojis. It was introduced as part of Apple Intelligence in iOS 18.2.

How does it work?

You access it from your keyboard emoji button and tap on the Genmoji icon.

• You describe it: You simply type a description of the emoji you want, like "a cat wearing a top hat" or "a crying broccoli."
• AI creates it: Apple's AI then generates several variations of that emoji based on your description.
• You choose your favorite: You can then select the Genmoji you like best to use in your messages.
