Microsoft's "Year in Review" for Edge highlights some impressive figures:

• AI-Powered Chat: Users engaged in over 10 billion chats with Copilot, Edge's integrated AI assistant.
• MSN Usage: Over 800 million articles, stories, and updates were accessed through MSN, which is integrated into Edge.
• Security Focus: Edge blocked over 1.4 billion phishing, malware, and scam attacks and protected over 7.3 billion passwords each month.
• Performance Enhancements: The "Sleeping Tabs" feature saved over 7 trillion megabytes of PC memory.
• Mobile Security: On mobile devices, Edge prevented over 1.8 trillion trackers.
• File Sharing: Users shared 46 million messages and files using the "Drop" feature.
• Translation Power: Edge translated a staggering 38 trillion characters.

​While Microsoft didn't mention how many times Edge was used to download Chrome, they did highlight its mobile success in preventing trackers.
