Adding a widget to your home screen on Android

It can vary depending on manufacturer but it should be something like…

1. Long-press on an empty space: This will open the home screen customization menu.
2. Tap on "Widgets": You'll see a list of available widgets from your installed apps.
3. Select a widget: Choose the widget you want to add.
4. Resize the widget: Drag the corners of the widget to adjust its size.
5. Place the widget: Move the widget to your desired location on the home screen.​

The manufacturer may provide some system widgets like a battery monitor for example.
Most other widgets come from installed apps like Weatherzone for example
