Once it reaches the 80% charge limit, it switches to bypass charging. This means that the phone draws power directly from the charger to power its components, bypassing the battery altogether. Why is this beneficial?
While this feature is a welcome addition, it's important to note that it may not be available on all Pixel models. It's likely that specific hardware requirements, such as a compatible USB power chip, are necessary to enable bypass charging.
