MITE Radio, part of the not-for-profit Stairway Project Inc focus on tech education for Australian seniors through its digital radio station, MITE Radio, as well as print and radio affiliates.

As technology becomes more central to daily life, seniors face significant challenges - studies show that over 40% of Australian seniors struggle with basic digital skills, and many feel excluded from the fast-paced digital world. Additionally, nearly one in four Australian seniors experience social isolation, a problem that technology can help alleviate by providing avenues for connection and communication. This issue is even more pronounced among homebound individuals and those living in regional areas, where access to resources and support can be limited.

MITE Radio strives to bridge these gaps by providing accessible tech education and support to seniors, within the framework of an online radio station playing great music, predominantly from the 50s to 80s.
